U8 bring a friend to hockey

We are excited to host our first U8 Bring a Friend to Hockey Day! This special event lets our players share their love for the game with a buddy. It is the perfect chance for friends to try skating and hockey in a fun, pressure-free environment.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday Sept 26, 2026
- Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am
- Location: Leisure Ice at the Didsbury arena
- Cost: Free
What to Bring:
- Full gear is welcome but not required for guests.
- Guests must wear a hockey helmet with a cage.
- Skates and winter gloves are mandatory for guests.
- A hockey stick is recommended.
Coaches will lead fun games, basic skating drills, and simple stickhandling activities.
We will have a table set up by the main ice filled with donated equipment, so please have a look through and see if you and your guest can find something "new to you"!
Please RSVP by Sept 24, 2026 with the name of your player's guest, and please join us even if you are not planning on bringing a friend!
